Safe Space Center of Hope grew from my own story. I grew up in a single-parent home, and although my mother did the best she could, I never knew my father. His absence left an ache that followed me through many seasons of my life.

For years, I did not have the words to explain what I carried. I learned how to keep moving and function while emotional wounds remained unaddressed. During those seasons, I longed for a place where I could be honest about what hurt and receive support without judgment.

As life unfolded, I began to recognize how unresolved pain can affect a woman’s confidence, relationships, choices, sense of worth, and even the generations that follow.

Through faith, reflection, and the healing power of God, I began to understand that what wounded me did not have to determine the rest of my story. Healing and restoration were possible.

That realization became the foundation for Whole Woman Ministries, founded in 2003, and for the work that has continued to grow through the years.

Today, that work is reflected in Safe Space Center of Hope, a place created to provide the kind of healing-centered support I once needed, where women can be seen, supported, encouraged, and given room to rebuild.

My story is only one story, but I know it reflects the experiences of many women.

Brokenness does not have to be the end of the story.
